Jeremy Swafford

Wrestling Strength & Conditioning Coach

Jeremy got his first start in 2006 while attending Central College in Pella, IA. Helping out in the summers with his hometown performance coach at D1 Performance, Aurora, IL, his passion began for helping athletes maximize their training potential and on-field abilities. Since then, he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and has been training in Raleigh, NC since 2009. With a love for sports performance and an enjoyment for helping all people live a healthier lifestyle, Jeremy works with all sports, goals, ages, and abilities.

Born in Oswego, IL, Jeremy grew up in a single-parent home with his mother, Krisi, and his brother Nathan. Sports began at a young age and he was involved in everything possible. Football was the first sport he started training for consistently but also participated in track and wrestling for Oswego High School. At Central College, he played football and threw javelin for the track team until he studied abroad in Wales and found rugby in 2008. He has been CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certified through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) since 2009 and USA Weightlifting certified since 2012.

Jeremy’s well-versed path in athletics has allowed him to understand training from a multitude of angles that can help anyone reach their goals, even if it’s not a “performance” oriented goal. From helping clients feel good about getting up and down the stairs again after knee and hip replacements, to coaching individuals to lose over 100 pounds and complete their first half marathon, Jeremy has worked with an extreme variety of clients and goals.
