“My name’s Jerad McDaniel, I’m 33 years old, and I’ve been coming here for a little over 2 years. How did I get into it? I used to have a lot of headaches, and I had to go to a doctor to figure out what was going on. I thought I had a really serious sinus infection, but they did a lot of tests. Found out then that my testosterone was low and that I was Vitamin D deficient, probably from being overweight, not eating well, and not getting exercise.
So I took it upon myself to find a way to fix that. I did an internet search and found Forged Fitness, came in, checked it out, decided to become a member and have loved it ever since. The people are amazing here, the coaching is top notch; they’re always making sure everyone’s form is good, no one is doing anything they shouldn’t be doing, because they don’t want anybody to get hurt while they’re exercising.
But yeah, they are family. Everyone is cheering you on whenever you’re working out. You can be extremely exhausted and about to collapse, and everyone’s pulling you up and helping you through the rest of the exercise.
There have been quite a few changes since I’ve started. At first I didn’t do that diet as well as I should have, but the exercise part I did really well. Actually, I started off at 290 pounds, so I was pretty big when I started. Got down to about 260, gained 20 pounds of good weight, and then I got my diet back.
The good news, going back to my doctor, my Vitamin D levels are good, testosterone levels are normal. I’m as healthy as can be. Then again, it all comes back to the family here, all the support. Any nutrition questions, there’s plenty of people here to answer those questions. I would definitely recommend Forged Fitness to anyone that wants a place to come work out. A good, pressure free, friendly atmosphere… This is the perfect place to be.”
